City of Port Phillip runs one themed enviroEvent every June to mark World environment day. This year we are connecting Art and Sustainability.

We are calling all local artists whose art inspires care for our environment to submit their artwork to be exhibited at the Gallery at St Kilda Town Hall. The exhibition will run from Tuesday 29 May to Wednesday 26 June. The exhibition in The Gallery at St Kilda Town Hall will feature many different artforms and works, all presenting connections to our local environment and evoking sustainability in different ways. It will feature, paintings, photography, video, sculpture, so will be very mixed exhibition of local artists. Submissions of expression of interest are due Tuesday 30 April but we might extend the deadline.

The exhibition complements the ‘Creative SustainAbility’ World Environment Day event on Thursday 6 June. This is where free arts workshops and performances will take place. The event is free and open to broad community.
