EVANESCE
The term ‘evanesce’ means to pass out of sight, memory, or existence and is frequently used in the present, referring to extinction that can be accounted for mainly by climate change.
Produced by Centre for Projection Art, EVANESCE featured works by artists whose practice deeply engages with critical issues associated with the Climate Emergency.
Over two weeks, the exhibition aimed to create a dialogue that investigated different approaches to addressing the cultural failures that are core to the grave climate and biodiversity crises we collectively face.
Artists
Yu-Fang Chi, Taloi Havini, Emily Simek, Autumn Tansey and Yandell Walton.
Creative Producer, Priya Namana.
